Subject:        Weekends. Portobello Market (the 5-th form)

       Objective: a) to fix the usage of the lexical units orally on the level of sentences  and in writing;

b) to develop pupils’ grammar skill (Present Simple – statements and negative sentences) and unprepared monologue speech on the level  of  short utterances;

c) to teach pupils organize their weekends and free  time properly.

       Equipment: textbooks “In Touch 1”, workbooks, handouts (lexical units and listening), a laptop, a plasma screen.

           Subject: Giving Advice (the 7-th form)

Objective:  a) to train the usage of the lexical units orally and in writing on             

the level of sentences;

b) to develop pupils’ listening and grammar skills;

c) to teach pupils giving advice using Conditional II;

d) to encourage pupils’ work in pairs and small groups.

       Equipment: textbooks “In Touch 2”, handouts (grammar, listening and speaking), a CD-player.

Subject:        Choosing a Career (the 8-th form)

Objective:  a) to train the lexical units on the level of sentences;

b) to develop pupils’ listening skill and unprepared monologue speech on the level of short utterances;

c) to fix pupils’ grammar skill: could, may, might (possibility);

d) to teach pupils analyzing before making a choice;

e) to arouse pupils’ interest towards different jobs.

Equipment: textbooks “In Touch 3”, pictures (professions), handouts (lexical units, listening, speaking), a CD-player.
